Tequila Jalapeno Bacon Poppers

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Tequila
  • 8 Jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeds removed
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 3/4 Cup Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Breadcrumbs
  • 8 slices Bacon

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Combine cream cheese, tequila, Monterey jack cheese, salt, pepper, and parsley and breadcrumbs in a bowl and gently mix until combined. Spoon the mixture into the jalapeño halves. Wrap each jalapeño with one slice of bacon, insert a toothpick at the seam to seal, and place jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove the toothpicks and enjoy.
