  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup Fireball whiskey, separated into 2 ¼ cup portions

  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • coarse salt
  • ¼ cup fresh mint
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds

Serves 8-10

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 50 minutes

Heat the oven to 400°F. In a large mixing bowl, add canola oil, ¼ cup Fireball and ¼ tsp cinnamon and mix together. Add the chicken wings and toss.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spray a wire rack with non-stick spray and place it on top of the baking sheet. Place wings on the rack and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 25 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 25 minutes.

In the meantime, mix together the honey and the remaining Fireball and cinnamon. Heat the honey in a saucepan for 2 minutes or microwave for 30 seconds.

Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and place them on the serving dish. Top with hot honey, mint, almonds, crushed red pepper, and salt to taste.
