Strawberry Tom Shrub
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Tom Cat Gin
- 0.25 oz Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2" Vanilla Bean
- 4 Strawberries
- 5 Basil Leaves
- .5 oz Club Soda
Blackberry Shrub Vodka Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 0.5 oz Blackberry Shrub
- 1.5 oz Vodka
- Top with Fever Tree Ginger Beer
- Garnish Rosemary
Directions:
1. Fill a tall glass with ice, and add the blackberry shrub and vodka.
2. Top with ginger beer and garnish with rosemary sprigs and blackberries.
Blackberry Shrub Directions:
1 Cup Blackberries
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
0.75 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
0.25 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1. Combine 1 cup blackberries and 1 cup sugar in an airtight container. Refrigerate.
2. Allow the sugar to absorb the blackberries for 3-7 days. Stir occasionally.
3. Strain the blackberry solids from the mixture and discard them.
4. Stir the mixture until the sugar is well dissolved, then add vinegar.
5. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
Raspberry Shrub Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Raspberry Shrub
- 1 oz Orange Liqueur
- 4 oz Vodka
- 4 oz club soda
- Garnish Lime
Directions:
1. Shake the shrub, orange liqueur and vodka in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
2. Strain into a tall glass with ice and top with club soda.
Raspberry Shrub:
1 Cup Raspberries
3/4 Cup Turbinado Sugar
1/3 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
2/3 Cup White Wine Vinegar
1. Combine 1 cup raspberries and 3/4 cup sugar in an airtight container. Refrigerate.
2. Allow the sugar to absorb the berries for 3-7 days. Stir occasionally.
3. Strain the berry solids from the mixture and discard them.
4. Stir the mixture until the sugar is well dissolved, then add vinegar.
5. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
Nacho Cocktail Shrub
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Blanco Tequila
- 0.5 oz Campari
- 0.75 oz Chili Lime Shrub
- 0.5 oz Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz lemon juice
- 0.5 oz Honey Syrup
Directions:
1. Shake the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
2. Strain into a rocks glass with ice.
Chili Lime Shrub:
3 Limes, Sliced
2 Cups Apple Cider Vinegar
Large Pinch of Toasted Chili Flakes
2 Cups Granulated Sugar
Pinch of Salt
1. Combine the limes, chili and vinegar in a sealed container.
2. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for 2-4 days.
3. Pour the mixture into a medium saucepan, add sugar, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
4. Remove from heat, and remove the limes from the mixture, but leave the chili flakes in.
5. Let cool, and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
