Cocktails Inspired by The Nutcracker
The classic and glamorous story about Clara and her treasured Nutcracker have captivated us for decades. If your invitation to the Stahlbaum Family party has gotten lost, let’s host our own!
Gather your toy soldiers, sugar plum fairies, handsome princes, Arabian dancers, and of course, Mother Ginger and let’s make up some Nutcracker inspired cocktails that will get everyone in the holiday spirit!
Peach Cobbler Hot Cocoa
Ingredients:
- 2 oz peach whiskey
- 1 oz amaretto
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- splash of vanilla
Directions:
Yields: 2 cocktails
In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the milk until it's steaming, but not boiling. Whisk in the cocoa powder, brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth and fully combined. Stir in a splash of vanilla extract.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peach whiskey and amaretto. Pour into two mugs or thermal glasses and garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
