1. Add all ingredients into a pitcher and stir until salt dissolves.
2. Let stand for 15 to 30 minutes, then remove and discard the jalapeño.
3. (The longer the jalapeño infuses, the spicier the Sangrita will be.).
4. Serve as accompaniment to shot of tequila.
5. Store in refrigerator.
