Galentine's Day Cocktails
We have Amy Poehler (as Leslie Knope) to thank for this essential, girlfriends-only holiday. In her words:
"Every February 13, my ladyfriends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It’s like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas."
So gather your gal pals and make it a good one with one of these delicious, unabashedly pink cocktail creations. With ingredients like berries, chocolate, bubbles and rose petals, you have a recipe for the best girl's night ever.
Pretty in Pink
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Lemonade
- 1 oz Grey Goose Vodka
- 1 oz Kinky Pink Liqueur
- Simple Syrup
- Sugar
- Rose Petal
Directions:
Dip the glass in a saucer filled with simple syrup, then coat the rim of the glass in another saucer filled with sugar to coat the rim. Combine all ingredients (except rose petals, sugar, syrup) in a shaker. Strain into a glass with ice and garnish with rose petals. Enjoy!
