1 cup Water
½ cup Sugar
1 cup Dark chocolate
¼ cup Heavy cream
To serve Cookies, fruits, or other dippable treats
In a medium saucepan, add the water and sugar and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Place the dark chocolate in a bowl and slowly add the boiling syrup while continuously whisking. Whisk until smooth.
Slowly fold in the heavy cream and amaretto with a spatula until smooth and shiny. Use immediately, or reheat over a double boiler later. Serve with your favorite cookies, fruits and other dippable treats.
