Maine Flower Show - Garden Cocktail Inspiration
The Maine Flower Show is coming up at the end of March to Thompson’s Point. That must mean gardening, warm weather, and bright colors are right around the corner!
The Maine Flower show is a huge garden and flower show where landscapers, enthusiasts, and designers come together to immerse themselves in the smells, colors, and trends of Maine horticulture. It is always such a fun and beautiful event!
Whether you make it to the show or not, let’s think about full gardens and warm weather while we sip on these garden and florally inspired cocktails!
Casa Spring Fling
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Casamigos Blanco
- .5 oz Grapefruit Juice
- .5 oz Lime Juice
- .5 oz Orgeat Syrup
- .5 oz Simple Syrup
- 6-8 Dashes Peychauds Bitters
- 3 Edible Flower
Spring Shower
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Reyka Vodka
- 1 oz Watermelon Juice
- 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
- 0.75 oz Lavender Syrup
- 1 oz Egg White
- 3 Cucumber
- 1 Cucumber
Garden Goddess
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Wiggly Bridge Distillery Gin
- .5 oz Simple Syrup
- .5 oz Lemon Juice
- Splash Soda Water
- 7 to 10 Basil
- 3 Rounds Cucumber
- 2" Strip Lemon
Directions:
Chill coupe or martini glass. Add cucumber, 7-8 basil leaves, lemon juice, and simple syrup to tumbler and muddle well. Add ice and gin shake well for 15-20 seconds. Double strain, using a hawthorne strainer and a mesh/tea strainer, into cocktail glass. Add splash of soda. Garnish with lemon peel wrapped basil leaves.
