

Strawberry Basil Peach Sparkler
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Vodka
- 1 Cup Strawberry Puree
- 1 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1 Cup Peach Juice
- 20 Basil Leaves
- 24 oz Club Soda/Sparkling Water
Directions:
Serves 8
1. In a large measuring cup (at least 16 oz) add the 20 basil leaves (torn into small pieces), and about one quarter of the total freshly squeezed LEMON JUICE. Just enough to submerge the basil leaves before muddling them.
2. Using a muddler, crush the basil leaves and release their oils into the lemon juice.
3. Use a fine mesh sieve to strain the mixture into a large pitcher filled with ice, using the strainer to keep most of the chunks of basil leaves out of the pitcher.
4. Add the remaining lemon juice, 1 cup of vodka, 1 cup of strawberry purée, and the 1 cup of peach juice to the pitcher, and stir the mixture thoroughly.
5. Add 24 oz of sparkling water (or to taste) to the pitcher, and very gently stir the mixture to avoid over-agitating the carbonated water.
6. Serve in a rocks glass over ice, garnish with a basil leaf and strawberry slice.
