In a ceramic dish combine all of the ingredients and mix together. Place the dish in a freezer. In an hour carefully rake the partially frozen mixture with a fork and place back in the freezer. Keep checking on the mixture and raking every 30 minutes until the granita forms, it will take a total of about 3 hrs. Serve in a martini glass with a garnish of mint leaves.
