Buttered Rum Ice Cream Float

2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 4 oz bottle root beer
1 oz dark rum
2 TB salted caramel sauce, plus more for garnish
Drizzle caramel sauce inside a large, empty glass. Add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. Slowly pour in the rum and root beer. Garnish with additional swirls of caramel and, if you like, a maraschino cherry. Yum!
